Budgeting With SimpliBudget

Budgeting is all about forecasting your income and spending, then tracking how you do against your forecast. SimpliBudget uses three basic categories (Income, Spending, and Savings) and four different screens (Budget, Transactions, Charts, and Notes) to help you to easily track your personal finances. Use the Budget screen for forecasting, the Transactions screen to track your finances, the Charts screen to compare how well you’re doing against your forecast, and the Notes screen to keep additional financial notes. Budget Screen

Forecast and track your income, spending, and savings for each month. Create your own unique budget categories and use SimpliBudgets Inflow-Outflow totals to track the difference between your income and spending. You can have unique budget categories for each month, or re-use the same categories each month. You can set up recurring bills and income so that SimpliBudget automatically adds these transactions to your budget file at regular intervals.

Transactions Screen

Enter transactions using SimpliBudgets transactions screen. Take advantage of text recognition features to speed up entering your spending, income, and savings as it happens. Filter by each budget category, and view your totals.

Charts Screen

Use SimpliBudgets unique interactive charts features to get the picture on your finances. Use the bar charts feature to compare the difference between your projected spending, income, and savings for each month. Click or tap on each bar to view the precise amount! Use the pie charts feature for a detailed breakdown of your spending for each month.

Notes Screen

Keep track of all your financial affairs in SimpliBudget using the Notes screen to keep track of any additional aspects such as your account balances, investments, debts, and more.
